The Vegan Accords is seeking 25 passionate individuals to join the inaugural Vegan Accords Standards Committee. This unique opportunity brings together advocates, creators, entrepreneurs, business leaders, animal-welfare supporters, and other changemakers to help develop the foundational framework that could shape how cities around the world support and engage with plant-based living for decades to come.
About The Vegan Accords
The Vegan Accords is a nonprofit movement dedicated to accelerating the adoption of plant-based living by building the cultural, community, and societal infrastructure necessary to support long-term systemic change. Through The Vegan Accords Cities Initiative, the organization is developing a framework of standards and partnerships that encourage cities to create more visible, accessible, and supportive environments for plant-based living.
About the Summit
Two days of facilitated, collaborative work
Through a facilitated two-day working session, Committee Members will collaborate to develop recommendations that help shape the standards, commitments, and implementation framework for The Vegan Accords Cities Initiative. Participants will explore and develop recommendations related to:
Standards and commitments for participating cities
Increasing the accessibility and visibility of plant-based living
Economic, business, and tourism opportunities
Community, institutional, and stakeholder engagement
Long-term strategies for advancing plant-based living through cultural and systems change
