Help Shape the Future of Plant-Based Cities

The Vegan Accords Standards Committee is the first working committee established to support the development of the Vegan Accords Cities Initiative. As the founding advisory body for the initiative, the Committee will help develop the standards, commitments, and implementation framework that guide participating cities.
Bringing together advocates, professionals, researchers, business leaders, and community members, the Committee will explore how cities can create more visible, accessible, and supportive environments for plant-based living while identifying opportunities for community engagement, economic development, tourism, and long-term systems change.
The Committee's recommendations will help shape a model that can be adopted by communities around the world.

The Vegan Accords Standards Founding Summit will take place in Berlin, Germany, during World Vegan Month on November 13 and 14, 2026.
These facilitated working sessions will bring Committee Members together to develop recommendations related to:
Standards and commitments for participating cities
Plant-based accessibility and visibility
Business and tourism opportunities
Community and institutional engagement
Long-term strategies for advancing plant-based living
