Building the Vegan Future, City by City
1 CITY. 1 WEEK. 100,000 VEGANS.
Animal agriculture will not be dismantled one person at a time.
Our goal is to bring 100,000 vegans and allies who believe in a vegan future together for one week to a city that commits to signing the Vegan Accords. By concentrating our participation and collective economic power, we will push for lasting change and build the vegan future, city by city.
Why We Exist
Individual choices matter.

Lasting social change requires more than individual action.
While millions of people care about animals, sustainability, public health, and creating a better future, many still face cultural, social, and institutional barriers that make change difficult.
The Vegan Accords was created to help bridge that gap.
We work to strengthen the systems, communities, and cultural conversations that support plant-based living and help transform individual interest into collective action.
Our Approach
Creating a plant-based future requires more than information alone.
Develop and negotiate
Come together and sign
Shift Power and Lasting Change
Reccuring tourism and permanent policy change

Current Initiatives
Vegans already live their convictions every day, often in systems that make doing so harder than it should be. The Vegan Accords Cities Initiative turns that daily commitment into organized economic power by concentrating the movement's participation, spending, and visibility in one city at a time.
Each year, for one week, the host city becomes a glimpse of the vegan future - a place where vegan life is visible, supported, and easier to live.
Together, this work builds the collective strength needed to challenge animal agriculture and move cities and institutions toward a plant-based future.
